Italian design furniture brand Gufram launches the new chaise rack BORING CACTUS® – aiming to reinterpret the brand’s classic product CACTUS®.
Born in 1972, CACTUS® is popular all over the world with its bold and rich color configurations and has been loved by industry insiders for 50 years. The new version of BORING CACTUS® launched this time is a different version, using a mild gray color, embracing the monotony of daily life while still maintaining the unique charm of design. It can be said that the birth of BORING CACTUS® is an ironic embrace of unity, proving that even the most ordinary elements can bring sensory shock.
BORING CACTUS® is handmade by Italian craftsmen, made of polyurethane and continues the original 1972 mold. Up to 170 cm, retaining the classic profile, it has four cantilever-shaped arms and 2,165 exquisite handmade bumps. The outer layer is coated with Gufram’s patented Guflac®, which is both durable and has a soft touch.
In addition to artistic value, BORING CACTUS® remains a perfectly functional cloak rack that can be integrated into a variety of interior designs. Whether it is a modern office, minimalist home, or a mixed-style space, its gray appearance is both low-key and tasteful, quietly exuding a delicate design charm.
