Pharrell Williams and his digital auction platform JOOPITER are holding a special auction for Kim Jones’ artistic achievements in a tribute to the designer’s extraordinary contribution and influence in the fashion world. Kim Jones recently announced his resignation as creative director of Dior Men, an auction that is intended to reflect on his legendary career with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Dior, and to show his unique perspective on fashion, art and design.
With the theme of “The World of Kim Jones”, the auction will display a number of epoch-making prototypes and undisclosed sample works, including Jones' joint designs with brands such as Nike, Travis Scott, Hajime Sorayama and FRGMT. Some exhibits have made their debut. In addition, he will release rare items from Maison Margiela and Helmut Lang from his personal collection, further demonstrating his profound artistic taste and collection strength.
