Audemars Piguet officially releases the new 150th anniversary edition of Royal Oak perpetual calendar hollow watch

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the brand, Audemars Piguet officially released a series of new timepieces, first of which are three watches equipped with the new perpetual calendar movement Caliber 7138. To improve wear comfort and enhance reading clarity, all functions can be adjusted through an integrated crown. This self-winding perpetual calendar movement debuts on the 41mm Code 11.59 series model, made in 18K platinum and is priced at CHF 130,000. Next is the other two 41mm Royal Oaks, made of stainless steel and 18K sand gold, priced at CHF 109,300. All three new works have five patent protections.

In addition, AP also launched the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked “150th Anniversary” limited edition model, which is the last work equipped with the Caliber 5135 movement. Its design is inspired by the Ref. 25729PT hollow Royal Oak pocket watch from the 1990s and transplanted its charming dial style to a 41mm titanium watch. It has only been limited to 150 pieces, priced at 175,000 Swiss francs.

The 38mm Code 11.59 Flying Tourbillon watch is launched in the complication timepiece series, made of dazzling 18K sand gold. The case and lugs are set with 235 brilliant-cut diamonds, showing their luxurious temperament. It is equipped with an ultra-thin Calibre 2968 RD#3 movement, which is also the first AP model to be equipped with an automatic flying tourbillon in this size case, priced at CHF 149,000.
