DC Studios produces the latest live-action series “Green Lanterns” by DC's well-known hero “Green Lanterns” officially announced two starring candidates in October last year, and today James Gunn was the first to release his first stills.
The elderly version of “Hal Jordan” is starring “Godzilla vs. Kong” actor Kyle Chandler, and the young “John Stewart” is starring “Old”, “Mufasa: The Lion King” and Netflix's “Rebel Ridge” actor Aaron Pierre. It is expected to be created with a detective case-solving type like “Detective Insular”, and will connect the movies and the films to create a complete and huge DCU worldview.
“The Green Lantern” has now started production, with Chris Mundy as executive producer and series co-written by Damon Lindelof and Tom King, screenwriter of HBO's “Watchmen”, and simultaneously as executive producer. The first season is expected to launch 8 episodes, and the launch date has not been announced yet.
