Pay tribute to the legendary band AC/DC! Pro-Ject launches “Lightning” vinyl record player

Austrian brand Pro-Ject welcomes the latest masterpiece of the Artist Series artist series – inspired by the legendary band AC/DC Lightning Logo, creating a new vinyl turntable to pay tribute.

The AC/DC turntable is designed with a modern feel, with a heavy glass disc paired with a clear acrylic secondary turntable, and is powered by a lightning-shaped black MDF stand underneath, supported by three adjustable metal pointed leg brackets. In addition, it also has red LED lighting that presents a unique visual effect.

If you look closely, you will find that the low resonance tonearm of this vinyl record player is also designed based on AC/DC lightning, including an electric-optical red tonearm and a small lightning-shaped handle. In terms of technology, Pro-Ject uses a pre-tuned Ortofon 2M Red MM head, which is considered one of the most cost-effective choices in the HiFi field.

The Pro-Ject AC/DC vinyl record player is now available on the brand’s official website and costs 1,299 euros.
