Calvin Klein officially enters the “body shapewear” market

When it comes to Calvin Klein, the first thing people think of is undoubtedly underwear — especially the superstars wearing CK lingerie on huge billboards. Now, this classic brand image that lasts for nearly 40 years has ushered in a new chapter: Calvin Klein has officially entered the shapewear market.

This is the first time the brand has launched the “Shapewear Shapewear” series, marking its further expansion in the underwear field. To commemorate this moment, Calvin Klein specially invited high-profile photographer Charlotte Wales to take the lead, with model and actor Eve Hewson as the spokesperson.

The products include underwear that has a truly shaping effect, as well as body shaping clothes that are both fashionable and wearable, inspired by the concept of “sensual Simplicity”. The product styles are all-inclusive, from bicycle shorts jumpsuits, seamless thongs to lace decorative skirts. Each piece has four logo designs: Second Skin Smoothing (soft fit, like a second layer of skin), Stay Put Mesh (stable and breathable mesh for comfort), Stay Put Stretch (high elastic design, fits the body without sliding), and Secure Sculpt (shaping support technology for smooth contours).

Calvin Klein's body shaping series is launched this time when Skims x Nike announced the launch of NikeSkims' latest co-branded brand. As the leader in body shaping clothing with a current market value of nearly $4 billion, Skims has expanded rapidly in recent years, and has successively cooperated with the 2024 Paris Olympics, WNBA and The North Face, almost monopolizing market share. Now, Calvin Klein is finally facing a head-on time.

Calvin Klein’s first-time bodysuit line is now available online, with prices ranging from $34 to $104.
