Original text (2025/Feb/1):Nike's Air Max family officially welcomes the latest member, the Air Max DN8. This shoe is designed to improve the wear experience all day through Dynamic Air technology. It uses a full-length Dynamic Air system for the first time, with two sets of Air cushions built into a continuous air pressure cycle through eight interconnected tracheals, making each step more elastic and flexible.
“We wanted to create a pair of shoes that are lower from the ground but have a stronger feel of air cushioning. So we designed eight Air chambers that directly touch the ground to optimize the smoothness of the pace transition,” said Jonathan Kosenick, chief designer of Nike's men's sports style department.
The rear palm air cushion adopts a dual air pressure chamber design and is adjusted to a higher (15 psi) rear and lower (5 psi) front air pressure distribution, allowing the airflow to circulate naturally while walking, improving rebound and stability. The forefoot air cushion also uses the same design to ensure that each step has the best feedback and propulsion. In addition, the upper itself is also made of lightweight and breathable material, taking into account both comfort and durability.
The first color matching of Nike Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” will be launched on SNKRS and designated retailers on February 6, and will be launched worldwide on March 6.
