Sneaker custom designer ANT KAI once again brought new custom works, recreating it into the “Kuro Boro” version with the Birkenstock Kyoto shoe model.
This shoe was created for Hollywood superstar Michael B. Jordan. This is the second time the two sides have cooperated to replace the upper made of suede with ragged fabric made of Japanese tannin and fabric, and add thorn embroidery to add details. The overall style exudes a strong sense of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, which in some respect also echoes Kyoto's ancient nostalgia.
