Yohji Yamamoto 2025 Autumn and Winter Women's Clothing Series Show debut

Legendary designer Yoshi Yamamoto officially launched its 2025 autumn and winter women's clothing series show at the historic Hôtel de Ville in Paris, continuing the theme of the January men's clothing series, from deconstruction, layering to fabric transformation, a comprehensive dialogue with the inner childlike innocence.

The show first opened with a soft instrumental melody, and soon the first look quickly walked onto the stand. The model wore Yamamoto Yoshi's classic all-black look, and pinstriped trousers were reshaped into a short front and long back skirt, fixed with leather rope and matched with a transparent turtleneck top and flowing leather jacket. The coat was then flipped and knotted with excess fabric, while the draped lines were wrapped around the garment.

This season, purple is chosen as the main color, and the reconstructed jacket and strap boots present a dynamic beauty. Leather and wool fabric samples are fixed to improvised gowns supported by metal rings, highlighting the designer’s pursuit of deconstructive perfectionism. The collection also includes leather corsets, ruffled skirts and worn edge coats to bring a perfect end to the show.
