Estimated at $20 million, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant's first career jersey will be auctioned soon

Sotheby's will soon auction the jerseys worn by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant when they played in the NBA rookie game for the first time. Michael Jordan's jersey was signed by himself and is regarded as a rare sports treasure on the market. The jersey was worn by Jordan when he debuted in the preseason on October 5, 1984. Although the jersey back and name have dark stains, it is still full of collection value. Kobe Bryant's No. 8 jersey was then used for the first time in the preseason in October 1996, and was worn again in the following month's routine.

“The first rookie game is a unique milestone for every athlete to have only once in a lifetime, so these jerseys are particularly sought after by collectors,” said Brahm Wachter, director of modern collections at Sotheby's. The estimated auction price of these two jerseys will reach $20 million, and the auction will begin on March 21, so interested readers may wish to pay more attention.
