NAMESAKE 2025 Spring and Summer Series “OFFSHORE” officially debuts

When the waves hit Normandy's shore, NAMESAKE brought the 2025 spring and summer series “OFFSHORE”, the design is inspired by family, inheritance and personal growth. The brand went to Norman Coast to film during the 2025 Spring and Summer Paris Fashion Week, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. In this primitive wild landscape, the series of stories of “OFFSHORE” is fully presented.

This season's catalogue is like a journey of self-exploration, shooting scenes ranging from the stretch of coastline, steep cliffs, quiet town alleys to the lively ports and moored boats. The most intense picture comes from a huge abandoned shipwreck – the rusted hull is like a trace left by time, symbolizing the spirit of “OFFSHORE”: it still stands upright after storms.

This catalog only uses one model to make the picture more introspective. The young boy in front of the camera represents a microcosm of Richard, the eldest brother of NAMESAKE founding brothers. This season's story revolves around Richard's growth process and is a love letter written by his brothers – from youth rebellious to mature and steady, Richard's experience follows his father's footsteps to contribute and sacrifice to the family, and continues the important brand spirit of NAMESAKE.

One of the inspirations for this season is from the classic movie “The Legend of 1900”. The series design echoes the protagonist's wandering life on the sea, and reflects Richard's growth journey from Taipei to Kaohsiung. The overall outline of the clothing combines a neat structure and a flow, and the tones are mainly earth and ocean tones, and the detailed design combines navigation and sports elements; the tailoring inspiration comes from the droop of the monk's robe, while the functional items pay tribute to the resilience of sports and sea life.

“OFFSHORE” is not just a series, but a growth process of an inner state. It tells the story of a state of mind that bravely step out of the comfort zone and meets unknown challenges. As personal growth occurs, it presents a new balance of hardness and softness and calmness. Through the magnificent and poetic scenery of Normandy, the core spirit of “OFFSHORE” is brought out – about family, inheritance, and the courage to head to the unknown world.
