Porsche revealed a lot of important news in its latest financial report, first of all, it is the preview that the 911 car series' strongest Frog King GT2 RS will be returning, and a new SUV model is being developed, which is expected to be officially launched before 2030.
In the report, Porsche highlights the continued evolution of the 911 series, and previews that it will launch “very emotional derivative models” and “high-performance and exciting limited edition models”. These include an upcoming flagship model that will allegedly “raise the bar again in the sports car space.” This strongly implies that the GT2 or GT2 RS is about to return, and this model last appeared in the 991.2 generation, equipped with a twin-turbocharged horizontal six-cylinder engine that can output 700 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque.
If the GT2 RS does return to the market, it will likely maintain its traditional configuration, including a rear-wheel drive setup based on the 911 Turbo, equipped with an upgraded aerodynamic package and ultimate track performance. In addition to the 911 series, Porsche is also planning to expand the SUV lineup, and it is officially confirmed that it is evaluating a brand new SUV model, expected to use fuel and hybrid systems. Unlike the all-electric Macan, which fully replaces the traditional fuel version, the new SUV adopts a completely different strategy, aiming to continue the brand's extremely fast performance DNA while amplifying the synergy between existing product lines.
