The 13th station officially landed in Thailand after its successful exhibition in Le Brassus, Switzerland, Shanghai and Indonesia.
KAWS once again joins hands with long-term partner AllRights Reserved (ARR) to present a new stop for the tour exhibition, inviting viewers to stop, contemplate and feel the charm of art in a unique environment. This time, we have joined hands with local partner Central Embassy to further deepen the connection with the Thai community and inject a unique cultural atmosphere into the exhibition. The specific location of the sculpture will be revealed later.
Thailand is famous for its rich cultural heritage. It is a country where tradition and modern creativity complement each other. Its profound cultural connotation makes it an ideal stage for the latest stop of the journey of “KAWS:HOLIDAY”. Adhering to the spirit of “KAWS:HOLIDAY”, the sculpture is presented in a contemplative manner, inviting the audience to slow down, enjoy a moment of tranquility, and carefully savor the fusion of art and the environment.
Since its debut in 2018, KAWS:HOLIDAY has traveled to many continents and has traveled to many iconic locations around the world, including Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bristol, Singapore, Melbourne, Yogyakarta, the picturesque Changbai Mountain, and even as far as outer space. Recently, the exhibition passed through Shanghai and Brassus, and this stop came to Thailand to continue to explore the interaction between art, environment and cultural heritage.
