George Miller hints that “Mad Max/Doom Pioneer” is expected to launch a new sequel

Famous director George Miller recently accepted Vulture During the interview, it was hinted that “Mad Max/Doom Pioneer Mad Max” is expected to launch a new sequel, and said that when everything is in place, the project will start. (If for whatever reason the planets align, the project is a go.)

George Miller revealed that he had conceived a new work of “Mad Max” and had even had a full script, or at least detailed notes close to the script. He laughed and said, “I am a professional daydreamer. When I was a kid, my teacher's comments always: 'If George had less daydreams, his grades would have been better.”

However, he also emphasized that this will not be his first plan for the next time: “There are many stories in the future, and one of them is “Mad Max”, but this is not the next project I will do. There are two plans that I am more interested in. However, the movie is not accurate. If the timing is right, it may happen, and we need to see everything again.”

In 2015, George Miller launched the series' reboot “Mad Max: Fury Road”, played by Tom Hardy as Max, helping Charlize Theron as Furiosa escape from the control of Immortan Joe, becoming one of the most representative action films in film history. The sequel “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” was released last year, and will be replaced by Anya Taylor-Joy as the younger version of Furiosa and co-starred with Chris Hemsworth.
