Episode 8 of Lovecraft Country was titled Jig-a-Bobo. In it, Diana Freeman was relentlessly stalked by two ghoulish girls by the names of Topsy and Bopsy. They are demonic caricatures of pickaninnies and jigaboos, hellbent on turning her into one of them. She evades them for the majority of the episode but they eventually catch up to her. Diana is then infected with a curse that deteriorates her into the same form as Topsy and Bopsy, but is eventually saved from a horrible course This is my interpretation of what would have happened if Diana was never cured.
Side note: @thejadaharris played the role of Diana Freeman and did a fantastic job!
