Although Captain America: Fearless New World is about to exceed $300 million globally, according to the current box office trend, the outside world evaluates that this new MCU work is likely to be unable to make a profit in the end.
According to Deadline, Captain America: Fearless New World is a production cost of $180 million, and to break even, the global box office will require at least $425 million. However, after the North American box office hit a hot spot in the first week, it quickly fell in the second week, earning only US$28.2 million, a drop of up to 68%. This phenomenon is similar to 2023's “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Fanaticism”, which ultimately failed to make a comeback.
Currently, Captain America: Fearless New World has reached US$289 million worldwide, of which US$141 million come from North America and US$148 million come from the international market.
