Emancipate the gender boundaries with electronic music: “International Women's Dance Front” is about to airborne in Taipei La Fin

With the arrival of International Women's Day on March 8, Taipei La Fin will usher in an electronic music party that breaks the gender boundaries – Sensual Seduction International Women's Dance Front, which is not only a party, but also a exploring female creations. A music experiment on human subjectivity, desire and body. At that time, we will take the female perspective as the core, convey negative energy, subvert the traditional gender framework, and redefine the party culture.

The event consists of three producers and DJs who have deeply cultivated Taipei's independent music scenes, including Molly Lin (Loving Sun Records), Soft Pussy and NaNaSSUS (Simon Alert). They said: “This is not only a party, but also an experimental space for music, body and self, exploring how electronic music can liberate gender and individual expression. We want to create a music space that does not need to be catered and pleasing, so that everyone can enjoy it. All can be purely immersed in the pulse of music.”

This event is divided into two stages: Juicy Stage and MiiMii Stage. Among them, the latter will cooperate with the “Taiwan International Women's Film Festival” and will improvise the DJ Live Remix mixed audio-visual video. Its video works include the short film “Variety Washing Machine” directed by Cyber ​​queer artist Zheng Shuli.

In addition, the joining of Hong Kong electronic music organization Mean Gurls Club also brought surprises to the party. Since its establishment in 2018, the unit has been committed to promoting women’s voice in the electronic music industry. This time, organization members Subez Yeti and Mengzy will bring their unique performances to inject new energy and creativity into Taipei.
