Mercedes-Benz's new electric power version GLC model debuts

Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its power product lineup and recently took the lead in revealing the electric power version of GLC model. The entire car is equipped with the brand's latest EQ technology, aiming to improve efficiency, range and charging speed, while maintaining the brand's consistent sense of luxury and versatility.

Before its official production, the car had proven its toughness and excellence in extreme environments such as Arjeplog in Sweden, successfully completing the test of sub-zero temperatures, frozen roads and dangerous snow tracks. In the process of these challenges, GLC's advanced 4 MATIC all-wheel drive system and intelligent torque distribution technology still ensure excellent grip, stability and driving confidence.

“Our new electric GLC is an uncompromising model,” said Christoph Starzynski, vice president of vehicle overall development and integration at Mercedes-Benz Group AG. “In the Swedish winter test, the vehicle showed excellent reliability and robustness even under extreme conditions.”

The outstanding performance of the new GLC uses an 800-volt architecture that enables ultrafast DC charging of over 320 kW and improves efficiency in severe cold weather. Heat pump technology can maximize energy utilization, not only maintain range, but also keep passengers comfortable. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz's fully self-developed dual-speed rear-mounted electric drive unit optimizes energy consumption while also providing impressive power output.

At present, Mercedes-Benz has not disclosed the pricing and listing information of the power version GLC, so you may wish to continue to pay attention.
