The opportunity to collect the manuscript of “The Hidden Girl” is to be auctioned

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Studio Ghibli, Heritage Auctions will host the “The Art of Anime” auction, featuring rare animation art from the studio, such as “The Totoro”, “The Hidden Girl”, “The Magic Princess”, “The Witch's House”, “The City of Sky” and so on.

More than 60 Ghibli-related collections will be released at this auction, including animation manuscripts, celluloid film, background paintings and limited edition art works, including popular characters such as “Tongkat Bus”, “Lady Eboshi”, and “White Dragon”.

In addition to Ghibli's works, the auction will also present precious collections of many classic works in the history of Japanese animation, including the hand-painted production background of Akira (1988), the animation manuscripts of Pokémon and Sailor Moon, the animation original paintings, albums, posters and prints of Dragon Ball Z, Star Cowboy, Evangelion, and Blue Fear.

The Art of Anime will be held from March 22 to 24, offering online and on-site bidding (a reservation system), located at the Dallas headquarters of Heritage Auctions.
