Blanked Studios launches Lumon office supplies set inspired by popular movie collection Severance

Apple TV+'s sci-fi workplace suspense drama Severance has attracted countless fans with its weird atmosphere and minimalist design aesthetics, while Blanked Studios has recently brought the fictional world of this collection into reality. This product design studio, known for its “dystopian rugged” design style, has launched a new project that integrates the image of Lumon, a fictional enterprise, into a series of mirror office supplies, allowing drama fans to experience the design aesthetics from the “isolated floor” in real life.

Through a fun Instagram promotional video, Blanked Studios showed off this mirrored office suit inspired by Severance. The collection includes lifting desk folders, storage trays, industrial decorative lights and coasters sets. All items reinterpret the classic design of Blanked Studios and are cleverly incorporated into the new laser engraving Lumon logo to create a real and futuristic office atmosphere. This set of office supplies is nicknamed “officially recognized office supplies”, which not only humorously echoes the satire of corporate culture in the play, but also further enriches the peripheral experience of the album.

As the second season of Severance is coming to an end (the final episode will air on March 21), the work starring Adam Scott and written by Ben Stiller has once again sparked heated discussions. In addition to the tension and suspense of the plot, the set design of the show has also become a highlight, especially the fictional internal design of Lumon headquarters, which evokes people's nostalgic associations about the interior design of the 20th century corporate interior design. For example, the architectural style is reminiscent of Paris' Espace Niemeyer, and the series also guest-starred classic works by several designers, such as the sound system designed by Dieter Rams for Braun, and the Vitsœ 620 chair. These details not only surprise design enthusiasts, but also make more viewers realize the value of these classic designs.
