
Detroit may soon welcome the WNBA team belonging to the city, and according to Sportico, Eminem has joined a bidding group to make Detroit a part of the WNBA.
The bidding group consists of some of Detroit's “most well-known team owners, executives and athletes,” including Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores, NHL team Red Wings, MLB team Tigers, NFL team Lions owners, and former NBA star Grant Hill and Chris Webber, Lions quarterback Jared Goff, General Motors CEO Mary Barra et al. Although the specific details have not been disclosed, it is reported that the bidding group is considering investing about nine-figure dollars.
